Ape Escape is a funny and cute game for the PS1, and shows that graphics isn't everything in a game.

Ape Escape has you trying to stop a evil money called Specter, who is trying to take over the world with his army of monkeys. Using an array of weapons, you must capture both cute and aggressive monkeys.

The good points about Ape Escape are that the levels are very inventive, as well as the weapons. The monkeys all have different stats, meaning some are easy and some are not so easy to catch, which is good. As this shows variety of difficulty.

The bad points about the game is the mini games are pointless, and not very fun. Also the dodgy camera angles don't help either, making it frustrating catching one monkey.

Ape Escape is a good game that the whole family would have a laugh at playing.
