One PS1 game that I don't keep at the bottom of the PS2 games
The oriniality, the graphics, the gameplay, the plot all adds up to the greatest single player PS1 game ever and can be played on the PS2, by all means do that do because this platformer beats Mario and Crash Bandicoot hands down.
Storyline: You are Spike, an innocent nephew of a Professor who has built a time machine, but when a monkey called Spector comes in possesion of a Peak Point Helmet, you know there's trouble when he turns evil and commands an army of gun wiedling, blood thirsty monkeys who are intent on rewriting history, making monkeys the dominant species on Earth.
You have to stop the monkeys before they can rewrite history and ensure that Spector is defeated sooner rather than later.
Graphics: Cartoony, cute Japanese style graphics but pays great attention to detail and is pretty much glitch free, amazing and no other game can claim something so great like that nowadays.
Gameplay: Amazing. It is indescribabe and many people have nothing but praise for this legendary game showing the games industry just what to do. Missions are not boring and the storyline is amazing, unbeatable and of course original. Monkey capturing is very cool and battles against Dexter is very cool as well. I can't describe it's authenticy.
Sound: Great voice acting, great sound effects however the music gets a bit boring.
Lifespan: Has replayablity value but sadly no multiplayer which is the weak link in one of th greatest platformers of all time.
