Apocalypse was the highly ambitious Activision game that came out to the PSOne on Halloween 1998. Since then I have been fondly affected by the concept of this game. A scientist who converts into a religious fanatic only to help bring about the end of the world.
In the future when the end of days have come the "Evil United States" has wrongly convicted "Willis" of terrible crimes. Once in prison Willis creates a gun out of the sink metal and starts blasting his way out. Its an all out blood bath as you take on the Evil government to rid the world of the President who has become the Anti-Christ. The game delivers what it promises, an execution of all four horsemen along with the assassination of the President Beast by Willis.
Overall its a great shoot em up game, similar to Contra meets Smash TV. The voice over by Bruce Willis adds greatly to this game. The music is decent hard rock " what else would you hear in a biblical game". Cool level design and game control make it a joy to play.
I still play this game now 8 years later just for the fun of it.
