This game had a lot to live up to with Gothic 3 so bad.

Wow what can i say, i bought this game against all my instincts after reading all the terrible reviews and playing a buggy pc demo, but my memories of gothic 2 were to strong to deny, could they get back on track after such a terrible gothic 3? And the answer to that is yes... by the time i put my controller down after it had finished i was completely blown away at such a great game, i was straight on to my computer hunting down information about any dlc, and low and behold there it was, Arcania, The Fall of Setariff.
Arcania has had some completely unnecessary bad reviews! its not going to compete with the big budget Mass Effect 2's and your Skyrims ( the juggernauts of the rpg world ) but its a solid enough game, and a game that delivers atmosphere in its open worlds and great battle mechanics.
It starts off not so great and the voice acting is not going to win any oscars but once you get past that and start on your path it really starts to open up and get going! All i can say is if your a fan of the gothic series then i would say embrace it with both hands and enjoy your time in this massive open world thats in front of you, enjoy!
