What is Archeblade exactly? It's a 3D action game which focuses on pvp the most.A similar game to this is S4 League but with a lot more potential.First of all I'll talk about the graphics. It uses the Unreal Engine which hadn't disappointed the public before neither in Borderlands nor Unreal Tournament 3 and lets not forget about Dmc Devil May Cry,or other famous games such as these. As a result the graphics are outstanding (it's the least I can say),they're not resource demanding all thanks to the Unreal Engine so most computers shouldn't have problems running it.Now lets talk about the characters. The game offers a variety of 14 characters to choose from before a match and the characters themselves are very neatly polished. Each character has its own combos executed mostly by using the mouse. The appearance of the characters are really special, anime facial features which will make you "Awww" with cuteness. Some may not like animated characters but I wouldn't see this game having it any other way.Now for the soundtrack. Each song brings you closer to the game and the action itself.Just the soundtrack alone of the game is enough to make you want to play more. The gameplay itself is quite great but not perfect yet.Even though the hit boxes are very precise and you never miss your attack, there's the matter of your attack vs enemy attack,if they were executed at the same time which one would hit first? In most cases that's not an issue if you know your character but sometimes you can find yourself caught in an infinite combo from the enemy but I'm sure that will be worked upon with time. The game itself has multiple modes such as holding multiple control points, the more you control the higher the chance to win, your casual team deathmatch with no respawns, free for all with respawns and so on.What I found that the game is lacking is more characters.Even though the game has 14 usable characters ,you would kinda love to see more especially after you would own all of them. The game also should have more maps to play on just for the diversity but that's something that is worked upon I'm sure. For a free to play game you'd expect, where are they getting their money from?Just like all free to plays it has its own virtual store where you can buy things to boost yourself in the game but I can't say that makes the game pay to win because most of the things sold there can be bought with game currency too.The characters can be unlocked either with real money aka gems or game currency. The reward you get after each match is fairly decent, but you get most of your money from leveling up.You can easily unlock all characters without having to pay a single dime. The conclusion to all of this, download it from steam and give it a try,you won't regret it,I didn't.
