Armed Forces Corp. is a game that does some cool things, but it just doesn't cut it.
First of all, the graphics are incredibly dated. It looks like a game that has come out 10 years ago. It doesn't even meet the graphics from the game F.E.A.R. at all. At least the game offers the slow-motion effect, like in F.E.A.R. And it looks pretty nice, too. Also counting the blood you'll see when you shoot someone's brain box. Boring visuals, choppy animations, and lackluster textures doesn't make a "pretty" action game.
The game play is okay. It gives you the nice F.E.A.R. feel that you should be having. The guns can be fun to shoot, and the enemy AI is not bad, but it's not like we haven't seen game play like this ever before. There's nothing really new added into the Tactical FPS genre.
To cut this review short, the game is alright. It can be fun at times, but it's too overrated and you may regret buying it. It was a good idea to add the F.E.A.R. engine to the game with a nice feel, but it doesn't make a new and improved Tactical FPS game.
