Best AC I've played. Amazing gameplay, crappy presentation.
Frankly, I am amazed at how well balanced and fun the gameplay of the AC series can be. I'm also just as amazed at how foolish the geniouses that made this game are by not focusing more on the presentation of the game.
Better than AC2 because of its many new featuer such as:
-AI-controlled ACs in versus mode
-Ability to do 2-player coop against enemy ACs
-Much better graphics
-Many more parts with a wider range of abilities such as:
*left-handed guns that have a seperate lock than the right hand
*optional hangers in each arm that can store additional weapons
*shields as left-handed or extention (some are even passively used)
-A designated button for inside parts (vs. having to switch weapons)
-Much easer AC-building interface with features like:
*buy, sell, equip, and tune(see below) from the same screen
*tuning ability allows you to customize individual parts for your AC
*graphs that allow you to see how each part affects your AC overall
-Much better single-player missions (AC2 missions just plain sucked)
-Single-player isn't as linear and provides 6 different endings
-Tons more...
Get the game if you like AC2 as much as I do, given that they both fall far from perfection thanks to their awful presentation. But Last Raven is a little better in that regard, and much better in regard to everything you see up on that list.
