Armored Core: Master of Arena was another installment to the series on the PS1. You played as a pilot (yourself) of a raven and did missions for the raven's nest. The game also introduced Nine Ball, the super powered AC that was piloted by the best pilot in the game. The game had a very interesting story behind it to. The main thing, just like it says in its name is the arena combat. You have all the standard arenas, humanoid, reverse joint, caterpillar, and four leg, but once you beat the arenas and the missions, you will unlock more arenas to battle in. The extra arenas have tougher ACs and provide a challenge to any Armored Core fan. This game was fun, introduced a tough but very challenging new enemy, and had the same formula that the game's have sticked to. This AC game was good, and there are much better ones on better consoles. If you liked the AC series than give any of these games a try.
