i was a great fan of army of two and was always dissappointed when gs gave it a low score.the game was rocking with a great story, exciting gameplay, great cut videos and a cool weapon modding section.well heres whats different and in army of two:the 40th day!!
1. as soon as you start the game you are lucky to get a few extra weapons in case you have the army of two save file in your console.the one thing that was cool about army of two was the weapon modding section and i was eagerly looking forward to it.i wasnt dissappointed to see the weapons section in this game and some real new camoflauges, scopes, and weapon modding bring a lot of fun to this game and in this one you can customize your weapon anytime in a game.
2.the gameplay offers some exciting action in shanghai city starting off with burning rooftops and exploding buildings and slowly taking you to the streets of shanghai.the game has one of the best cover and shoot action so far, with great graphics.same old gameplay but with some exciting new additions like hostage situations where you have to subdue terrorists using your combat tactics and you get to choose what to do with them.you can mock a surrender and then attack your enemy or you mock it and your partner attacks.great aggro gameplay with complete control of your partners movements for more controlled atacks.
3.run and take cover or run and knock down a target, tie down your enemy or shoot and move through, use your gps to mark enemies and attack with more precise controls.its all new and good additions.
4.co-op mode is fun like always and only one thing disappointed me and that was the cool video cut scenes from the first part, made into cartoon cut shots in this.
in short army of two 40th day is a great sequel, the gameplay is the same, very entertaining and some good additions, great weapons and arsenal with cool modding
having just completed the game i would say...go on get it.
