I bought this game at Gamestop for 17.99$ used. For how much I payed for, this game is pretty damn good. Considering I played the entire campaign through with a friend. If your playing this by yourself expect some dull and slow AI. The third person shooter aspect of the game is pretty well made, though I doubt your single player AI partner will be as good at it as you are.

The story is about two contract mercenaries Rios and Salem. They work for a privatized military organization called SSC. Soon after you go on a couple missions in Iraq, you start to unfold the plot. The plot that states, someone inside the SSC is leaking information to the enemy to make the U.S. Army look bad. The reason is because a bill is being created that will replace the U.S. Army with a number of privatized military organizations, like SSC. And organizations like SSC want that.

Your main objectives throughout the game is to kill the bad guys, obviously, whether they terrorists or corrupt SSC employees. And as you do this you get cash for the good things you do. And you can use this cash to buy weapons, new armor, or upgrading the current weapons you have. By getting new stocks, barrels or even pimping them out.

One of the main features in the game is called AGGRO, the more you shoot the more you get shot at. You or your partner can take aggro and the other player can sneak around behind an enemy and kill him. It's simple enough to learn but it's not as easy if your the run and gun type.

The graphics in this game are amazing, I played this on the PS3 and like any other game on this system it will leave your jaw wide open. The Cut-scenes are great, and the gameplay graphics are just as well made.

The gameplay is pretty fast paced, you can set low mid or high sensitivity to your controller. Near the end of the game I finally got a feel for it. Then found out that it was over. Most of the time your gonna be running around trying to find obstacles to duck behind and then blindly shoot at the enemy in front of you. You can't exactly get up and walk straight at the enemy and fire. At least not with out getting pretty banged up. Blue enemies have pretty low health and die easily. The red enemies are the mid-class and require a bit more attention. While the yellow enemies are like juggernauts and you almost have to use the aggro system to get behind him and shoot. I'll tell you this now, the enemy AI is 10x smarter than your co-op AI. They can get a dead on shot gun blast from 100 feet away. And be prepared to have to heal your friends alot. All that happens when you "die" is you basicly loose the function of your legs. And your crouched on the ground until your friend or AI partner comes to get you. You can shoot. But you still have limited ability. The AI isn't exactly smart enough to figure out where to drag you and heal you. So some times if you get injured in single player your done for.

So I'll rap it up, something I missed. If your looking for a gory game that you can play with your friend. Get this. The funny dialog between Rios and Salem will get you, and your buddy laughing it up. The game is really short so I hopefully you waited until now to buy the game for 20$. If your a stand alone gamer and like playing online this will also be fun for you. But if you game alone and don't have the online function. I'd say don't buy this.

Some other thoughts, the story, even though some think it false and ludicrous. Most games are, if you wanna sell me a game that says Two extremely combat efficient men can actually replace an army, go ahead. Army of Two 7.5/10. Mostly because of the multiplayer.
