1080 back on track

Nintendo has announced that 1080 for the GameCube will in fact be released this winter in Japan. The game was last shown in video form at Spaceworld 2001, but since then, reports have indicated that the version shown at the show was completely scrapped and that the project was restarted from the ground up.

A North American release date has not been announced. GameSpot will have more on 1080 for the GameCube as it becomes available.
