2005 IndieGamesCon winners announced
GarageGames names the best of the best from its fourth annual independent games festival.
Independent game programmers flocked to Eugene, Oregon last weekend to take part in publisher GarageGames' annual IndieGamesCon celebration. While all attendees no doubt left with a piece of Eugene forever in their hearts, developers for a few of the games also took home some hardware in the form of the convention's four game awards.
Taking home the Best Single Player and Best of Show awards was 21-6 Productions' 3D adventure puzzle game, TubeTwist. Last year, an early version of the game took home the Most Innovative Game award. GarageGames currently has plans to distribute TubeTwist through its Web site.
This year's Most Innovative Game was Procedural Arts' interactive drama Façade. Realm Wars 2, built on GarageGames' Torque Game Engine by members of the GarageGames community, won the Best Multiplayer Game award.
