The nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards have been announced. The annual TV awards are set to air on September 22, and this year the nominations are dominated by Game of Thrones.

Season 8 of HBO's hugely successful fantasy show has set a new Emmy record with a total of 32 nominations. That's more nominations for a single season than any show in Emmy history--the record was previously held by NYPD Blue, which scored 26 in 1994. Game of Thrones' nominations include Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Actress in a Drama for Emilia Clarke, and Outstanding Actor in a Drama for Kit Harrington.
