$40 Gunstringer shooting retail Sept. 13
Twisted Pixel nails down release date, budget price for upcoming motion-controlled adventure shooter bundled with download voucher for Fruit Ninja Kinect.
Last week, Twisted Pixel released the well-received Ms. 'Splosion Man on Xbox Live Arcade. Gamers hoping to get a taste of what the developer is brewing next won't have to wait too long, as the studio today announced that The Gunstringer is due out September 13.
The Kinect-enabled game will sell for $40 at retail and will be bundled with a voucher code to download Halfbrick's slice-'em-up Fruit Ninja Kinect. The Halfbrick-developed produce-slicing game will see a stand-alone Xbox Live Arcade launch August 10 and will sell for $10 separately.
Those who pick up the Gunstringer will also be able to grab a free downloadable add-on called The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles. The expansion has players battling cowboys as well as futuristic combatants to save the world from total collapse.
Additionally, gamers who preorder The Gunstringer will receive a pair of Xbox 360 avatar props: a Gunstringer marionette and the hero's trusty steed. For more on The Gunstringer, check out GameSpot's latest preview of the game.
