5 Years Later, GTA 5 Gets A New Version On PS4, Xbox One, And PC
It sells for $85.
Almost 5 years and 90 million copies shipped after Grand Theft Auto V was released in September 2013, developer Rockstar Games today released a "new" version of the open-world game. The $85 GTA V: Premium Online Edition, as it's called, includes the main game, an up-to-date version of GTA Online, and the Criminal Enterprises Starter Pack.
This pack comes with $1 million in GTA$, along with things like properties, weapons, vehicles, and businesses to help you get off the ground running (see the full list below). The Criminal Enterprises Starter Pack has been available for months already. If you already own GTA V, you can get the starter pack for $40 by itself.

It is no surprise that this new version of GTA V--which will be sold in physical and digital stores for PS4, Xbox One, and PC--is focused around GTA Online. The online mode continues to be incredibly popular, with its microtransactions still pulling in lots and lots of money.
Part of what has made GTA Online so enduringly popular is that Rockstar continues to release updates and offer sales on a regular basis. Here is a rundown of all of the weekly deals in GTA Online.
While no single-player DLC for GTA V has been released, GTA Online has welcomed a series of substantial, content-rich updates--all of which have been free. These have included things like The Doomsday Heist, Gunrunning, Bikers, and Smuggler's Run.
