989 Sports Ships MLB 2001

989 Sports announced on Monday that MLB 2001, the latest installment in the MLB video game series, has shipped to stores. The game will be available at stores nationwide on Tuesday.

"The MLB development team has continually pushed the envelope to deliver the most realistic baseball experience in a video game," said Troy Mack, product manager, 989 Sports. "By involving numerous baseball professionals in the development process of this year's game, MLB 2001 will be the most incredible baseball simulation ever to hit the PlayStation. Gamers and baseball enthusiasts will be impressed with its new features and ultrarealistic graphics."
