A Complete Version Of Shin Megami Tensei 5 Could Be Coming
The game was rated in Korea.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been ranted by the Game Rating and Administration Committee in Korea, but the listing has since been deleted. [Update: Sure enough, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was revealed at the Nintendo Direct, and notably, it's coming to more than just Nintendo Switch.]
Spotted by Gematsu, the listing said that it is a complete version of Shin Megami Tensei V containing improvements and additional content. The game has received bits of paid DLC in the form of experience and money boosters, as well as extra battles. In particular, the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei III, the Demi-Fiend, was an optional boss battle in the Return of the True Demon DLC.
A potential "complete" version of Shin Megami Tensei V could include the already released DLC content, and "improvements" could refer to new quality of life features or technical refinements.
Shin Megami Tensei V was first released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. However, the Nvidia leaks during the same year mentioned a PC port of the game. Nintendo is having a Partner Direct this week so it's possible that the game could be revealed there.
In GameSpot's Shin Megami Tensei V review, we said, "Shin Megami Tensei V may be slow-paced, but its strategic turn-based combat and dark, foreboding atmosphere deliver a challenging and rewarding RPG experience."
