Fallout 76 Season 20: Glow of the Ghoul is live with a massive update that lets players finally become a ghoul. The ghoul-themed season also includes a questline, a new landmark, and more.

Bethesda released a new trailer for the update, which can be viewed below, and it shows off a character's transformation from smooth skin to ghoul. It even highlights some of the options players can choose to make their ghoul unique in the game's character customization.

Players can transform their characters into ghouls as early as level 50. They'll be able to collect and equip 30 new ghoul-specific perk cards, giving new ways to build out characters and suit unique playstyles.

Glow of the Ghoul also adds the Leap of Faith questline and a new landmark in the Savage Divide. Ghoul-themed C.A.M.P. items are also available, including the radioactive Goo-Tub. Later in the season, players can expect a seasonal event called the Big Bloom, which begins on April 29.

According to Bethesda's roadmap for Fallout 76, the next big update after Glow of the Ghoul will arrive with Season 21 sometime in June.

I'm sorry, not sure if everyone will align themselves with my point of view on this update, but why would i want to become a ghoul? The mechanics and perk system is pefect as is. It just needs one good side quest besofe the next gen fallout is released. One brotherhood of steel side quest, please im tired of collecting technical documents only to get potatoes. Its unfinished too, depending on your decisions the higher echaelon of brotherhood of steel- should be swooping to take back control - introduce another bad guy, choose to take his side or make a stance, choices that actaully matter, like maybe they decide to take out the resisting brother hood of steel chapter in appalachia- who want what's best for the people of appalachia- with the nukes- and maybe we have a build up of confrontation starting with discussion which escelates, but instead we get "wanna become a ghoul?"* Like nooo- whoo wants that? lol and they changed the perks too, like i ligged in saw they changed the perk system and i thought -nope... Now i will have to just revise my perks again hich will take hours because there is bound to be an OP ghoul perk that pvp ruins you for

Yeah, dude. This was really what everyone was waiting for. How about adding actually quality content that gives meaningful side quests to do? Last time I checked all they did was scripted events that some dogs attack people, and when you just stand far away after dogs are killed some NPC runs to you like he sensed a force user there in the woods as he thanks you for helping them to survive when in reality you did nothing about it, yes nothing. IDK why they let Bethesda still exist ayy lmao. They are way worse than random indie developers and their rubbish games on Steam, because indie developers develop for a passion despite they lack decent sense of quality, however these so called AAA business BS does it for easy money therefore end up producing empty digital rubbish lol. I got Fallout 76 for free but I demand a refund. :DDD
