Acclaim Appointment

Acclaim today announced the appointment of Paul Eibeler to the position of vice president and general manager of Acclaim North America. As general manager, the sales, marketing, and operations functions will report directly to Eibeler, who will oversee Acclaim's full line of interactive video games and PC software entertainment. He reports to Gregory Fischbach, Acclaim Chairman and COO.

Eibeler comes to Acclaim from Impact, Inc. He also spent time at Activision, Imagic, and Worlds of Wonder.

On Friday, Acclaim announced a US$69.7 million net loss for the fiscal third quarter.
