Acclaim Goes Boxing With HBO?

Sources told GameSpot News that Acclaim struck a deal with HBO that would allow the company to use licensed properties from the popular cable network. Our sources also said this deal will give Acclaim the rights to HBO's boxing coverage for its upcoming boxing game.

GameSpot News contacted Acclaim. However, the company would not comment at this time. "We have made no announcement on our upcoming boxing title," said Jay Andronaco, PR manager for Acclaim's newly formed Ring Sports. Acclaim, however, informed us that it would make announcements soon. We'll keep you posted.
