Acclaim ships Headhunter

Acclaim announced earlier today that it has shipped the PS2 version of Headhunter, the Sega-developed game that was originally released for the Dreamcast platform in Japan and Europe. The game puts players in the role of Jack Wade, an amnesiac recently awakened from a coma who's on a mission to uncover the nature of his recent misfortune. The game takes place in a mildly dystopian Los Angeles, in which a lucrative black-market trade in human organs has put the weak and defenseless at the mercy of gangs of organ robbers. Players explore the gritty world as either Jack or his accomplice, Angela Stern. Among other things, players will be able to ride on Jack's high-performance motorcycle, sneak through the bowels of the Los Angeles underworld, and jump through various hoops in order to earn bounty-hunting licenses that will allow them to take on more lucrative jobs.
