Royal Club today has officially announced that Xiao "Ackerman" Wang has joined the team. A translation of Royal Club's weibo post is below.

After one year advanture at North America League of Legends Championship Series, world class top laner GodLike is back to Star Horn Royal Club! Under regulation of L.ACE, through talks between the team and GodLike, he will be the starter top laner from this day on, competing under the name of Star Horn Royal Club. We wish fans to continue your support of Star Horn Royal Club, and our players will bring great matches to you!

The announcement contradicts an earlier post by the organization which stated that they were not planning to make roster changes heading into the 2015 Season,.Ackerman was previously the top laner of North American LCS team LMQ and represented North America at the Season 4 League of Legends World Championship.

Ackerman, under the moniker Godlike, was the top laner of Royal Club Hangzhou prior to his tenure at LMQ and represented China at the 2013 World Championship Finals held in the Staples Centre at Los Angeles, California.

Ackerman stated on his weibo that he "played Season 4 really badly." that he "will fight for season 5"
