Chris Spencer of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, had his name picked from among 18,000 others to be the grand prize winner in an Activision contest to support its upcoming True Crime: New York City game. Before the official name of the game had been unveiled, entrants were asked to guess the location for the follow-up to 2003's True Crime: Streets of LA. For his powers of deduction, the 40-year-old financial analyst won a customized Chrysler 300, tricked out by Next Motorsports in the style of the upcoming game's lead character, Marcus Reed. True Crime: New York City is scheduled for release this November.
