Uncharted actor Todd Stashwick, who plays a "significant" but unknown character in the upcoming Uncharted game for PlayStation 4, has teased the project in a series of images on Twitter and Instagram.

One image shows Stashwick donning a full motion-capture suit with a message saying, "The guts the glamour the glory that is Uncharted PS4."

Another image depicts a dummy wearing a motion-capture suit with a Gala apple in its hand, though it is unclear if the apple is in any way connected to the game's plot.

A third image posted on Instagram shows another dummy with a fake AK-47 in its hand. "He never had a chance. He'll be missed," Stashwick wrote.

Stashwick performed the voiceover in the teaser trailer released this month for the new PS4 Uncharted game. In the trailer, he gives a monologue that suggests someone, somewhere wronged him.

"Some chains can never be broken," his character says. "I lost 15 years...buried alive, erased. You left me, rotting in that hellhole and never looked back. But you can't outrun the past. And when it catches up, when all your lies collapse around you...I'll be there...sifting through the wreckage...You owe me."

Naughty Dog has provided only vague details about what to expect from the new Uncharted game, saying it will "push storytelling and performance capture." The game's graphics are also said to be a "big jump ahead" of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception for PlayStation 3.

The new Uncharted game for PS4 is being written by Amy Hennig, whose credits include various Legacy of Kain and Jak & Daxter games, as well as past entries in the Uncharted series.

Stashwick's film credits include You, Me, and Dupree and Along Came Polly, among others.
