The first indie to be given the royal debut treatment.

Microsoft has announced the next games slated for Xbox Game Pass, its all-you-can-eat subscription service. The most notable new addition is Robocraft Infinity, coming to Xbox One on April 11. As noted in the announcement, this also makes it the first ID@Xbox game to join GamePass at launch.

Robocraft has you create your own custom robot designs and then test them in combat against other players in Battle Arena and Deathmatch modes. It's launching with more than 250 building components, and more parts are planned to come for free post-launch.

The sim builder Cities: Skylines is also coming to Game Pass in April and includes the After Dark expansion. Other new additions for the month will include The Hunter: Call of the Wild, Kingdom: New Lands, Portal Knights, ClusterTruck, Sacred Citadel, and Late Shift.

Xbox Game Pass is a $10 per month subscription service offered on top of the usual Xbox Live Gold subscription. It gives you access to download more than 100 games at any given time, including any new first-party games from Microsoft. Last month, that meant Sea of Thieves joined the rotation as soon as it was available for purchase. Check out the full list of available games.

I know The Hunter: Call of the Wild is not everyone’s cuppa, but give it a go. It is absolutely beautiful, and once you learn not to make a load of noise, quite fun.

@snailrancher: Yeah, would be AWESOME if it wasn't so broke :-(

now I'm mad I bought the game & all dlc at full price because I had faith the dev would fix it, like they do the Steam (PC) version; it gets updated & upgraded quite often.

Tossing it to "Game Pass" is just confirming we'll be lucky to get another patch and the game may be forever buggy broke

@blitxxx1981: There have been two updates lately for Xbox. Yup, there are still some glitches from time to time but it is certainly playable. The devs have committed to keeping the PC and Xbox version on parity, and as far as I can see, they are just about there. We'll see after the next update, which is evidently due out soon.

@snailrancher: I hope you're right, really.

But it feels like there was the X Enhancement update (which I like bc I have an X), then an update to go along with the new DLC map; both fixed issues, but for now it's still too buggy (4 hours without ANY animals is an issue, lols) :-(

Cluster Truck looks like dumb fun and I was always curious about Late Shift. I too got game pass for SoT, this is a nice bonus.

This service is actually such a good idea for gaming, there's tons of games I would not buy but would give a go because of gamepass (Sea of Thieves being one of them). This Robot game is giving me twisted metal style fun, would definitely try it out on the the service. Rise of the Tomb Raider is on there as well, people should play it if they haven't already.

bought a month to check out Sea of Thieves with my matey. A good way to check out the interests for the game from these flaky pirates. Super fun so far.
