No Caption ProvidedPeasants beware! Funcom has delivered 15,000 PC beta keys to GameSpot for their upcoming MMORPG, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. These beta keys will be unleashed upon the globe on April 16. By signing up today, you may be able to secure a code to grant you access to the pillaging, plundering, and bloodletting sure to be unveiled on April 18. All characters created during the April 18-20 weekend will be transformed into level-20 harbingers of destruction. While a jewel-encrusted horn may not be the catalyst for the monstrous change, you can bet one out of the 12 classes in the game will bring your inner Dagoth to life.

You don't really need a banner AND a post at the top of the forums with a picture...just slows down loading and rendering.

Look on the top of the page, where you can search, there is a banner there for the Beta Registration... I registrated myself yesterday, so I know it was open. And probably still is...

There are two possibilities. 1) The Beta signup is closed, in which case Gamespot needs to update that registration page with a message actually letting the user *know* what is going on... instead of letting thousands of users scour the links looking for a registration forum that doesn't exist. or 2) They have postponed opening the registrations until a later date, in which case they should update that page with a new expected date of opening. Either way, they are dropping the ball on this one leaving us in the dark.

So we automatically start at 20? I would've thought start us at around level 17 so we have 3 levels to play by ourselves and learn the controls
