All the BioShock Games Now Playable on Xbox One With Backwards Compatibility

All three BioShock games are now playable on Xbox One. Microsoft's Major Nelson announced today that BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite have been added to the console's backwards compatibility catalog. This is no surprise, as the titles were announced for the program a while back.

If you already own any of the games for Xbox 360, they should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can buy them on the console or through the links below.

• BioShock ($20; 4.6 GB)
• BioShock 2 ($20; 6.4 GB)
• BioShock Infinite ($30; 6.49 GB)

With the three BioShock games, there are now more than 300 Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One. You can see a roundup of all of them here.

BioShock: The Collection, which features remastered versions of all three games, came out earlier this year. No new entries in the series have been announced. Development on the franchise has shifted to 2K's internal studios following the effective closure of Irrational Games.
