Altar announces Vision
Altar Interactive and Octagon Entertainment unveil a role-playing game scheduled for completion toward the end of 2005.
Altar Interactive has recently appointed the Octagon Entertainment agency to assist with its search for a worldwide publisher for the previously unannounced role-playing game Vision. Currently scheduled for completion toward the end of 2005, the game promises to offer players a deep and engrossing storyline, as well as plenty of action and combat.
Details of Vision's storyline are a well-guarded secret right now, but Altar has released a few tidbits of information on what it feels are some of the game's most significant features. Players will be able to employ an "inner sight" mode that reveals hidden magic, cryptic meanings, and subtle connections in what Altar promises will be a "visually amazing" way. The developer is also aiming to populate the gameworld with non-player characters, including the players' enemies and party members, who behave in a wholly believable and realistic manner.
"Octagon is very pleased to work with a game that is backed by such an experienced development team. Altar's talent is evident in the foundation they have created for Vision," said Kirk Owen, president of Octagon Entertainment. "The animations are outstanding, and the level design is excellent. This game really turns your head."
"We welcome this opportunity to work with the leading entertainment software agency," added Martin Klima, director of Altar Interactive. "It allows us to concentrate on the creative side of development, and at the same time, we are confident we are going to get the best deal possible."
We'll bring you more information on Vision as soon as it becomes available.
