AMC Theatres has also added that it is following "stringent health and safety cleaning protocols" by cleaning "hightouch point areas, including kiosks, counter tops, restroom areas, glass, handrails and doorknobs" at least once per hour.

Adam Aron, CEO and president of AMC Theatres, stated: “The health and safety of our guests and theatre teams are of the utmost importance to AMC. Therefore, AMC is proactively taking action to cut in half the number of tickets that we will make available at all our U.S. theatres. With this action, we are facilitating the ‘social distance’ between guests who still want to see movies on a big screen.”

This whole thing has been blown so far out of proportion. The media has created a massive, unnecessary panic. This is the swine flu and SARS all over again.

Sounds like a waste of time. Once this thing is under control, then you're going to enlarge them again? Movies are cancelling left and right. Just clean what you have.

@louixiii: They aren't renovating the theatres. Just reducing how many people are allowed to be in it and only selling tickets for some seats.

Blue -tack (or any other adhesive putty) is very handy in removing dirt, especially a sticky one. I find difficult to clean e.g. scroll wheel - its surface usually has some kind of convex pattern. In case of my mouse - Logitech G102 - scroll wheel has thin horizontal bars. Lots of them. Dirt, usually mixture of dust, sweat and natural oils, is an annoying one. Using toothpick is slow and ineffective, because dirt is still there, just a bit less. Blue-Tack picks it up without any problem, fast and easy. It's very handy for cleaning keyboard too.

@Vojtass: A great tip for getting into those difficult places but this is more about disinfecting those surfaces in light of reducing the chances of infections, Covid19 in particular.

PS This is posted in the wrong topic btw
