Amped Web site opens

Microsoft has launched the official Web site for its Xbox snowboarding game Amped and in the process released a single screenshot from the game. Unlike EA's SSX Tricky, which is more arcade based, the gameplay in Amped will be rooted more firmly in the sport of snowboarding. The game will feature a variety of open courses based in real-world locations such as Utah's Brighton, Vermont's Stratton, and California's Snow Summit. Amped will be released this fall for the Xbox.
