And 1 in gym until June
Ubisoft delays PlayStation 2, Xbox streetball game to perfect alley-oops, ankle-breakers, and playground taunts.
Just because the And 1 Mix Tape ballers make their blacktop acrobatics look easy, it doesn't mean the high-flying dunks and whirlwind dribble moves came easy to them. Dishing out embarrassment to other players takes practice, practice, practice. The same apparently holds true on the virtual playground, as Ubisoft today announced that its streetball game needs a bit more time in the gym.
And 1 Streetball, previously scheduled for an early spring release, will now appear on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 on June 6. The extra time in development will give Ubisoft the chance "to deliver the highest quality gaming experience." The release date is also a few days after this year's And 1 Mix Tape Tour--which Streetball is based on--begins.
And 1 Streetball is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older and will retail for $39.99. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's preview.
