Another Metal Gear Survive Beta Coming To PS4, Xbox One, And PC Very Soon

You'll soon get the chance to play Metal Gear Survive once again.

Konami has announced another Metal Gear Survive beta, which is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC next week. The trial--which marks the first opportunity for PC players to try the game--starts on February 16 and ends on February 18.

The beta will include three missions set across two maps, and you can play the game in co-op with up to four players during the beta period. Special daily missions will also be offered over the three days. Those who take part will receive a FOXHOUND name plate, Metal Gear Rex Head accessory, and a bandana--all of which are cosmetic items that can be equipped to your in-game avatar. It's unclear if there will be a way to unlock these without having played the beta.

Now Playing: How Do You Even Play Metal Gear Survive Co-Op

This new beta follows another that came in January, though that was only for PS4 and Xbox One. We don't yet know if the maps and missions on offer this time are the same as those playable last month.

Bear in mind the final game requires a constant internet connection and contains microtransactions, despite being a paid game with a single-player mode. Survive was originally due out in 2017, but it was delayed back at E3. It marks the first Metal Gear game to be released by Konami since Hideo Kojima, the series' creator, parted ways with the studio.
