Ant-Man And The Wasp's New TV Spot Offers A Glimpse At The New Mission
An exciting new TV spot for Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp has been released
A new TV spot for Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp has been released, offering brief glances into action sequences and the sitcom-esque laughs that fans expect from the franchise. The spot essentially takes small chunks from the trailers that have already been released and condenses them for television, so if you want a better picture of what the movie will look like, check out the full-length trailer. For those of us who prefer to get just a taste of a movie before it comes out, look no further than this new preview.
Without giving it away, the spot opens with a peek into what the new mission may be, saying simply that someone has "released something powerful that could destroy the world," so I think it's safe to say that the stakes are pretty high. There seems to be some kind of rainbow-colored explosion, but that's about as much as we know about Ant-Man's newest challenge.
The Wasp, played by Evangeline Lilly, will serve as the experienced team member, while Ant-Man is still in the learning phase of his superhero journey; the two have a charming if somewhat contentious back and forth. With only a glimpse at Ghost, and nothing about Dr. Bill (Lawrence Fishburne) or the long awaited Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), Marvel seems to want to keep the new characters pretty close to the vest.
This new TV spot gives viewers a pretty good sense of what the Ant-Man sequel will be like, featuring the evolution of existing characters and the marriage of comedy and action that we know and love. Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released July 6.
