Aquaman Movie Delayed, New Release Date Announced

The standalone Aquaman movie has been delayed.

According to EW, Warner Bros. announced today that the film is now slated to come out on December 21, 2018, which represents more than a two-month delay from its previous date of October 5, 2018.

Jason Momoa plays Aquaman. He portrayed the character in Batman v Superman in a small role and will also play the part in this November's Justice League.

In addition to Momoa, Amber Heard will play Mera, the Queen of the Sea, while Patrick Wilson will play Aquaman's evil half brother Orm Marius AKA Ocean Master.

Furious 7 director James Wan is helming Aquaman. Recently, Wan shared some pictures of the gorgeous locations where Aquaman may film.
