Armored Core 2 will be using the i.Link port of the PlayStation2 for multiplayer games.
GameSpot News has learned that Armored Core 2 will be using the i.Link port of the PlayStation2 for its multiplayer games. With two PlayStation2 units and two television sets, players can compete against one another in the game's multiplayer mode. For those gamers who cannot come up with two television sets and PlayStation2s, a split-screen multiplayer format will also be offered.
A playable version of Armored Core 2 will be present at the Tokyo Game Show 2000 held next week. Stay tuned to our live coverage from the show floors starting Thursday.
