According to sales monitor Chart-Track, although Assassin's Creed Syndicate has had a stronger debut than Assassin's Creed Rogue--a title released only for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC--it failed to outperform Assassin's Creed Unity.

Guitar Hero Live, meanwhile, made its debut at No.3, ahead of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection at No.4, and Grand Theft Auto V at No.6.

Lego Dimensions, Destiny: The Taken King, and Forza Motorsport finish the week ending October 24 at No.6, No.7, and No.8 respectively. Rounding off the top ten are Lego Jurassic World and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Nintendo's newest release, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, failed to crack the top ten, reaching No.11 in its first week on sale.

Here's the full top ten for the week ending October 24.

  1. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
  2. FIFA 16
  3. Guitar Hero Live
  4. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
  5. Grand Theft Auto V
  6. Lego Dimensions
  7. Destiny: The Taken King
  8. Forza Motorsport 6
