Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC Wrath Of The Druids Delayed To May
Originally slated to launch on April 29, Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first paid DLC now arrives on May 13.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla's upcoming paid DLC, the Wrath of the Druids, has been pushed out of its April 29 release date. It's now expected to launch on May 13 as developer Ubisoft Montreal said it wants to "deliver a more refined experience."
The official Assassin's Creed Twitter account shared the news. Along with announcing the delay, Ubisoft Montreal said it's putting together an article to "provide transparency and share insights on [the development] process."
The Wrath of the Druids, the first piece of paid Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC, takes Eivor to nearby Ireland where players will uncover the secrets of an ancient druidic cult called the Children of Danu. There are also regional kings to influence, Gaelic folklore to partake in, and occult forests to explore. The Wrath of the Druids can be purchased individually or comes with the $40 Season Pass. That also includes the second expansion, The Siege of Paris, which is slated to launch this summer.
In other Assassin's Creed Valhalla news, Ubisoft released an update that fixed progression issues with four quests. The studio said it's working on "more permanent solutions" for addressing these sorts of problems.
