AU Shippin' Out Feb 14-18: Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Capcom's latest fighting game is released in Australia unopposed.
The last few years have seen the revival of the Street Fighter franchise and along with it, a comeback of the popular versus spin-off series. Following on from last year's Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars comes Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (MVC3). On the Marvel side of the ring, popular heroes like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain America are available to choose from, while classic Capcom characters like Chris Redfield and Dante are also playable. All up there are 36 fighters to choose from.
For anyone unfamiliar with the MVC franchise, the main difference between it and the regular Street Fighter franchise is that it features tag-team-based gameplay. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is out this Thursday on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
That's all for game releases this week, but next week is looking like it'll make up for it. Killzone 3, Bulletstorm, and de Blob 2 are just a few of the games that are slated to hit Aussie store shelves next week, so stay tuned to AU Shippin' Out.
