AU Shippin' Out July 5-9: Crackdown 2
Shoot, kick, and roll over zombie hordes as you return to the streets of Pacific City.
Aussies will be able to strap on their cybernetic policing boots and jump over buildings when the sequel to 2007's well-received sandbox action adventure game, Crackdown, goes on sale down under this week. Headlining an otherwise dry period after the E3 carnival, Crackdown 2 is being released exclusively on the Xbox 360 and returns gamers to the fictional Pacific City where the only law is lawlessness.
Gamers reprise the role of an unnamed agent working for an organisation simply called "Agency", with your job being to clean up the mean streets as you collect orbs, punch bad dudes, and throw cars around like rag dolls. Naturally, there's a zombie element at play, and you will battle against the casualties of a mysterious outbreak. The game builds on its predecessor and offers four-player cooperative play and 16-player online competitive multiplayer support. Crackdown 2 is out this Thursday.
