Avowed - Practical Pockets Treasure Map Location

In Avowed, you can find treasure maps in each region that lead you to unique gear, if you can find the location on the map. In the Emerald Stair you can find the Practical Pockets treasure map, which is being sold by the vendor at The Gifted Magpie in Fior mes Ivérno. Once you have purchased the treasure map, you will get a side quest of the same name, tasking you with locating it using the image on the map.

Where to find the Practical Pockets treasure

The treasure can be found just a bit northeast of the Ranger Headquarters, which can be found on the eastern side of the map. Use the fast travel beacon there and head further east and just a bit north to find a small cutout in the cliff. Jump down into the small area to find a large chest, which contains Hjilde's Handy Hide, a set of Fine armor.

Hjilde's Handy Hide has two unique passive abilities, the first being All Seasons, which reduces incoming fire, frost, and shock damage by 10%. The second is the Survivor passive, which grants 40 maximum health. While the armor set isn't a higher quality than most of the armor found in the Emerald Stair, its unique passive abilities might be appealing to you.

If not, you can also scrap or sell the item to get high-quality upgrade materials to use on other armor or weapons. Once you collect Hjilde's Handy Hide, the side quest will be marked as complete.
