Bad Boys 3 Has a New Title and Release Date
Bad Boys for Life will open in 2018.
A third Bad Boys movie is still happening, but fans of the action comedy series will have to wait a little longer for it. The movie was originally scheduled for release next year, but will now debut instead in 2018, with a new title.

As reported by Collider, the film is now called Bad Boys for Life, and will open on January 12, 2018. It was originally scheduled for June 2017. Stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence remain on board, as does director Joe Carnahan.
As the site points out, setting a January release for a high-profile mainstream action movie is very unusual, and it could potentially move again. In addition, Sony has technically got a fourth Bad Boys scheduled for July 2019, but this is unlikely to happen if Bad Boys for Life doesn't open until 2018.
Earlier this year, Smith confirmed that he and Lawrence were returning to the series. "I saw Martin a few weeks ago," he told BBC Radio One. "I haven't seen him for about two years. We just looked at each other. We hugged.
"In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We're definitely doing another one."
