Infogrames announced on Tuesday that its new puzzle game, Ballistic for the PlayStation and Game Boy Color, has shipped to stores. The game requires players to protect the center of a loop from a never-ending flow of colored balls that feed on a spiral belt that converges in the middle. "Ballistic is one of those incredibly addictive puzzle games that you just can't put down," said Rick Reynolds, director of product marketing for Infogrames North America's I-Heroes Label. "Easy to learn and irresistibly fun gameplay make Ballistic a must-have for all ages this holiday season."

Developed in Japan by the Mitchell Corporation, Ballistic will retail for US$29.99 on the PlayStation and $19.99 on the Game Boy Color.
