Battle Realms goes gold
Ubi Soft and Crave's real-time strategy game is complete and will ship in early November.
Ubi Soft Entertainment and Crave Entertainment have announced the completion of their real-time strategy game, Battle Realms. The game has been in development since late 1999 at Liquid Entertainment, the game studio headed by Ed Del Castillo, who produced Westwood's popular real-time strategy game Command & Conquer. Battle Realms is set in a medieval fantasy world inspired by feudal Asia, and it lets players lead a clan of peasants to become warriors.
Battle Realms will ship to stores on November 8 with an approximate retail price of $49.95. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
