Battlefield 3 sweepstakes hits this weekend
Players of EA DICE's latest get a chance to visit the developer in Sweden, win a cash prize, or receive a console pack with Battlefield catalog.
Battlefield 3 sold through 5 million units in the week following its release. As a way to say "Thank You" for the passion and loyalty of its fans, EA is holding a prize-laden multiplayer event this weekend.
The Battlefield 3 "Says Thanks" Sweepstakes will offer three distinct prize packages, and all who play the game from November 11 through November 13 will be entered to win. The grand prize is a three-night trip for the winner and three friends to tour BF3 developer DICE's studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The second prize is $5,000 (or equivalent local currency) in cash, and the third offering is a console with a full catalog of available Battlefield games.
DICE's latest large-scale shooter shipped 10 million units within its first week of availability. Its first premium downloadable content pack, Return to Karkand, will be available in December.
The full list of rules and regulations governing the sweepstakes can be found on Battlefield 3's official website. For more on Battlefield 3, check out GameSpot's review.
