Battlefield V Officially Announced By EA

Since it says Battlefield 5 I REALLY hope it's not WW2 , People should be happy with BF1 stick with it and play that era, Most of People Want current era max +10 year or something.

I'm still having fun with BF1's multiplayer. WWI setting was so awesome and in my opinion brilliantly covered in this game, and i'm hoping they try some new setting this time again, like maybe American Civil War, or a mix of civil wars around the world. WWII is already too much used.

they barely have anyone playing the p.c. versions of 4 and 1 and now they want to release another one? same thing call of duty did they're just killing their own franchises off every couple of years it seems like

Secondly, what is it with this stupid industry and making spectacles out of reveal dates? We need to hype the reveal of a reveal? Has the "gaming" populace become this friggen moronic?

Rhetorical question, as it's obvious that it has. Otherwise, companies wouldn't do this trash. If you are seriously that addicted to games, that you hang on every single little marketing tactic they throw at you? You may want to seek professional help.

Hopefully we don't get stuck with a repetitive shovel animation with yet another already kicked dead horse war era game.

Battlefield has an identity crisis

Meh the series lost it's magic along time ago now it's just a arcady twitch shooter like COD. DICE will never go back to the the Battlefield 2 gameplay so this series is dead to me. Pretty graphics and destruction wouldn't make this a impulse purchase anymore I learned my lesson with BF1 never again.

This is just gonna be a Reskin of bf1, similar as what bf4 was to bf3. Not much point in getting the next iteration if it’s on the same console cycle

Why do a Roman numeral for the 5 when all others were otherwise? If I was making a game about Vietnam that also happens to be the 5th game in a series I’d put a big ol’ V in the title...Could it be?!

It’s so weird that they went with a roman numeral, as the other entries didn’t (I don’t think). I hate when movies do that, too. Yeah, I know, what a weird thing to complain about.

I'd rather see DICE finally develop a sequel to RalliSport Challenge instead of yet another Battle* game. They'd obviously have to call it something else since Microsoft still owns the copyright on RSC.
