BattleTanx II Comes to PlayStation

3DO has revealed that it is currently developing BattleTanx II: Global Assault for the PlayStation. The game released last month on the Nintendo 64 platform.

The PlayStation version of BattleTanx II: Global Assault will feature 40 campaign levels and 30 multiplayer levels, a new city, and new tanks and weapons.

"The advantages of the PlayStation game console with its great sound and graphic abilities, and the CD format's storage capacity, allow us to create a cool, immersive universe that really gets the player involved in the story," said Trip Hawkins, chairman and CEO of The 3DO Company.
