I feel like a lot of people don't seem to realize that the source material Kate (2006 was when she was introduced in the comics) was lesbian. It's not that DC is catering to modern LGBT trends, it's that the original character was designed as such. That's also perfectly fine.

What's not really fine is mandating that the person cast has to identify as a lesbian. Matt Damon, straight, played a gay guy in Behind the Candelabra: My Life With Liberace. He did a pretty good job. When people are acting it really doesn't matter what they identify as.

Hollywood keeps forcing gays into our lives. If they made up the majority - I guess you would have to include them, but since they are in the extreme minority and most are still ashamed to the point that they don't won't anyone to know. Why do they have to have gay heroes anyway? I mean, are they going to do gay things when they fight crimes other than what they do?

I don't really care if GS likes this comment or not because a lot of CW shows need to find some lame agenda, and Ruby Rose not being Batwoman anymore is going to hurt the show because she was actually interesting. The main reason that I kept watching the show was for her and a few other characters. Many of the characters in this show are boring. It is annoying because the writing could be so much better. People that work on many of these CW shows still don't understand that main villains shouldn't be predictable. It will always hurt a show when this happens. Batwoman has another big problem with relationships because many of them are lame. I feel that the writers don't even try to make many of these gay relationships interesting. They just want the show to have more gay characters which is fine, but it would be a big help for the characters to have a better story. After watching a full season of this show, I really don't care if it gets canned.

She should flip burgers at her local Burgerking. She would be fine there.
