Benny 'Benny' Hung has announced his retirement from professional gaming today on his Facebook page. In a post where he thanks creators of League of Legends, Riot Games, he states that he has no regrets for taking on this venture in his life.

On why he retires he had the following to say:

I had originally wanted to retire after one more go at worlds, but that plan was cut short seeing that we were unsuccessful in qualifying for this coming summer split. Am I disappointed? Yes, but what I felt worse about was disappointing the fans who believed in us. Despite all of the hardships the team has faced, we have grown close together like a family. And although we are going our separate ways, I know that they will be successful in whatever they do.

He also covers what he will be doing in the future and informs everyone that he won't be named 'CLG Benny' any time soon. Further he is sad that they relegated but gives props to LMQ for their play.

"I promise not to completely disappear from the scene. With this said, thank you to all of the fans for the support and faith that you had in me and the team." were the final words with which he concluded his statement on Facebook which you can read here.

Benny and his team achieved the 3rd place in both spring and summer split of the NA LCS in season 3 which got them a spot at the World Championship. One of the biggest achievements in Benny's career.
