A new era of PlayStation Plus has begun, one that adds far more value to the service thanks to a greatly-expanded library of games. If you're upgrading from the lowest tier of PS Plus to PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium, then you'll be spoiled with options, as there are literally hundreds of games in the new PS Plus library. So where do you start? Everyone has particular tastes and while there's no single recommendation that can apply to every subscriber, there are tons of can't-miss games in the new library. We've rounded up the best new PlayStation games for PS Plus Extra and Premium members.

Before we dive in, we should note that only games that are available to Premium and Extra members were considered for this list. That means that our picks here are limited to PS4 and PS5 games, including exclusives such as God of War and Ghost of Tsushima as well as indie darlings like Dead Cells and Celeste.
