From my experience, ToysRUs never had the Wii U bundle for $250, it's always been for $280. However WalMart and Target had it... but you couldn't buy it online, had to shop in-store.

Worst part is I heard a lot of people who were snatching it up ended up buying SEVERAL Wii U consoles "so I can sell it for a profit" and lo and behold I saw a slew of ebay listings shortly afterwards.... screw me for wanting to buy one so I can enjoy it, right?

@Princess_Rectum: Interesting. I just bought the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle off ToysRUs for $250. So the price was right, but the item was incorrect, from what I've seen.

Wii-U not having physical discs in those bundles is a sad, especially when it's still $250 for one year 3 into its life cycle with a measly 32GB and no HDD upgrade option. It is near impossible to justify a Wii-U bundle at $250 at this stage with horrible options given PS4 and XB1 with bundles are just $50 more at year 2 of their life with 500GB-1TB models. Not to mention how every single other Nintendo console launched for $200 besides the Wii, a console that still launched $50 less than what Wii-U did. In fact, I think I saw some XB1 bundles for the same price as Wii-U ones. Regardless of which console you think has better games, it's fact that options wise the PS4 and XB1 have far more. Nintendo needs to drop the price by $50 soon seeing all that plus NX is coming soon enough anyway which further makes it a hard sell at that price.

@not_a_sheep111: It brings me joy knowing that any perceived negative Nintendo comment makes you butthurt and always has you post this response. The Wii-U is trash. Now that I directly trashed it, say your signature line again so I can get some more lulz since you're that easy to upset and prompt such a response xD

@xOmniCloudx: The Wii U is not trash.. It has the best games this gen. It is too pricey and is a commercial failure though. .

@harlemstruggle: Wii-U has been overpriced trash since launch given all the best Nintendo consoles all launched for under even WIi-U's current standard price which is the price drop point for the Wii-U which is utterly pathetic. That's pathetic. The Wii is such a bom that Nintendo is already killing it by moving on to the NX so early on in the cycle since they can't deny it's a failure that can't be turned around.

Its mass underperformance singlehandedly led to them losing nearly 500 million dollars even after its sales projections got cut in half. It's mostly Nintendo fanboys and children apart of its absolutely pitiful sales. It's the biggest joke Nintendo has made since the Virtual Boy. If you want a great Nintendo experience this generation, you get a 3DS. Not the ridiculously disappointing Wii-U that most people could care less about with its pitiful options and garbage hardware, inferior services and pathetic options.

The console even got removed from most outlets in Europe and Australia since Wii-U couldn't break a 1000 units sold in a month in most the PAL regions. For any company that's embarrassing, especially for one that has the status of Nintendo. So, congrats on being all of 10 people that think otherwise while Nintendo is already phasing out due to most people of relevance feeling completely opposite.

@xOmniCloudx: Nintendo NX is a Hybrid will not be replacing the Wii U.

Every Nintendo console is fairly different unlike the other unlike PS3 and PS4 wich are easily replaced.

@xOmniCloudx: lol k. well, that's all fine and dandy but the Software makes the console a ton of fun and is so enjoyable during couch co-op. 3DS's library is ass cheeks and geared too much towards the youth compared to the Wii U.

@harlemstruggle:

Nintendo: Here is the Wii-U and what we have to offer
Most the populace: lol k. *ignores Wii-U, Nintendo panics and then begins to early kill Wii-U for NX to hopefully gain those same people*

Meanwhile those same people are busy elsewhere with far more options, superior options and money spent elsewhere, including owning and greatly enjoying the 3DS because that's an actual good Nintendo platform that is out now xD. If you like Nintendo games, you are a fool to buy a Wii-U over a 3DS lol.

@xOmniCloudx: Monster Hunter is for tweens, Pokemon is for virgins, Animal Crossing is for girls, played and beat OoT & Majora's Mask 3 times each(once with 3 hearts) on the 64..... Kirby, Yoshi, Mario 2d&3d, Donkey Kong, Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros, and even Mario Kart all have superior versions on the Wii U so to me besides a few titles 3DS library is for small children and hardly interests me and many others.

@harlemstruggle: I love how fitting your name is to Nintendo's predicament. If only it was JUST Harlem they were struggling in lol.

@xOmniCloudx: You came to an article that was SPECIFICALLY about Nintendo so you can post comments about how you think it's "trash"

You are a troll, grow up.
